Job summary

You will handle payments, maintain organized records in HIPAA-compliant fashion, multi-task between check-ins and phones, and coordinate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Prior clinic or medical experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Proficiency with EMR such as eCW and ModMed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally at the front desk.
• Manage front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and patient check-ins.
• Schedule appointments using the EMR and verify insurance coverage for Medicare and other payors.
• Collect payments and ensure accurate documentation review.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and ensure patient information is up to date.
