Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word seeks a Systems Analyst/Programmer to maintain academic and student-facing platforms, including learning management, CRM, and student advising systems. The role reports to the Associate Director of Enterprise Support and supports data pipelines, reports, and configurations critical to enrollment and student success.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and at least one year of relevant experience in an academic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• One year of experience working with or supporting technology platforms in academic, administrative, or customer-facing environments.
• Experience with Canvas, Blackboard/Anthology, Slate, Element451, Salesforce Education Cloud, or EAB Navigate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize scripts, automation workflows, and configurations to extend platform functionality.
• Build data pipelines, imports, and batch processes for enrollment and student success.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data exports to support decision-making.
• Gather requirements, translate to technical specs, and configure systems.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support and coordinate with vendors for complex issues.
• Document configurations, data dictionaries, and workflows; comply with FERPA/GLBA policies.
