Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is seeking a Systems Analyst/Programmer to support academic and student-facing platforms, including learning management, CRM, and student advising systems. The role reports to the Associate Director of Enterprise Support.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Preference for experience with Canvas/Blackboard/Slate and BI tools; on-site work schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field; up to 2 years substitutable for up to 2 years of education.
• 1 year of experience supporting academic, administrative, or customer-facing tech platforms.
• Experience with Canvas/Blackboard/Slate or similar platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with SIS systems (Ellucian Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft) including data imports/exports.
• Higher education enrollment management or academic technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support academic and student-facing platforms including LMS, CRM, and student advising systems.
• Provide reliable user support and troubleshoot with clear communication.
• Document configurations, testing, and processes; ensure data accuracy and security.
