St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville seeks an Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management to lead admission, financial aid, and enrollment analytics across the school’s day and boarding programs.

The role partners with the business office and senior leadership to forecast revenue, recruit diverse families, and enrich the family experience. The successful candidate will oversee a six-person team, drive data-informed strategy, and collaborate on branding, outreach, and succession

Qualifications

• Senior enrollment officer experience in independent schools, colleges, or universities.
• Deep knowledge of current enrollment, admission, and marketing trends.
• Excellent public speaking and written communication skills.
• Deep expertise in financial aid, including need-based allocation and net tuition revenue.
• Ability to lead the school’s tuition assistance program with integrity and confidence.
• Strong data fluency and ability to pull/analyze enrollment data for strategy.
• Ability to direct and support a team of admission professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enrollment, admissions, and financial aid across divisions and campuses.
• Lead a six-person enrollment team and collaborate with SALT and senior leaders.
• Develop international recruiting and boarding program strategies.
• Forecast attrition, admissions, and net tuition revenue; manage Veracross/Clarity.
• Present to the Board and contribute to strategic planning.
• Strengthen market position through branding and regional outreach.
• Improve retention and the family experience across transitions.
