Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist to assist with enrollment, registration, financial aid and records on the Steamboat Springs campus. The role may supervise front desk staff and coordinate registration activities, supporting student success.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant education with several years of related experience, strong English skills, and proficiency in MS Office; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Universities typically require a bachelor’s degree and two years related work experience; or an associate’s degree with three years related work experience; or a high school diploma with four years related work experience.
• Knowledge of standard administrative methods and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Access, Publisher, Photoshop, InDesign is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well; operate office equipment; be proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and email; multitask; meet deadlines; strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process student admissions applications.
• Organize applicant communications.
• Assist with tuition classification questions and disputes.
• Provide Front Line Financial Aid Counseling support, including FAFSA assistance.
• Mentor and supervise front desk staff as needed.
• Coordinate campus front desk and registration activities, including concurrent enrollment.
• Maintain student records and participate in campus card system duties.
• Handle front office tasks, reports, materials, and scheduling information.
• Support Career Services events and other programs on campus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
