Job summary

The Office of the Registrar at Texas A&M University invites applications for an Enrollment Services Specialist I in College Station. You will support students, departments, and colleges by interpreting degree audits in Howdy/Compass and processing requests in the University Adjustment System.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and focused on student success, with familiarity in degree planning, records maintenance, and policy interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of professional experience in higher education.
• Experience in admissions, advising or student academic records duties.
• Knowledge of student information systems and degree audits.
• Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality per FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advising and counseling departmental advisors on students’ academic records for graduation eligibility.
• Review degree audits and assist with Undergraduate Degree Planner and reports.
• Maintain knowledge of current policies and university/federal regulations affecting student records.
• Support graduation and commencement activities, including program accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for processes in the Registrar’s Office and University Adjustment System.
• Generate daily/weekly reports to ensure accuracy of graduation data and records.
