Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Two (2) years of related experience in advising, recruitment, marketing and/or customer service.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent graduate programs at regional recruiting and marketing events.
• Provide detailed academic advising to graduate students, faculty, and staff from inquiry to graduation.
• Assist with registration and retention efforts for graduate programs.
• Review and submit student requests for course substitutions with program coordinator approval.
• Maintain knowledge of university graduate student policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to update advising materials and stay current on trends.
• Prepare reports on advising trends and student demographics.
