Job summary

UNC Pembroke is seeking an Assistant Director for Academic and Military Outreach to serve as an Enrollment Management liaison for military affiliated and civilian students at the Fort Bragg campus. The role includes advising students and coordinating benefits and campus resources to ensure compliant, veteran-friendly services.

The position may require evening/weekend hours and entails collaboration with multiple departments to develop hybrid course offerings, recruit for military programs, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3–5 years of directly related work experience.
Demonstrated experience working with active duty military and veteran students; familiarity with GI Bill benefits.
Experience as an Enrollment Management liaison or in a student services role.

Responsibilities

Advise military-affiliated students and connect them to campus resources.
Coordinate term schedules with the AMO Director and manage course offerings.
Process VA education benefits and monitor enrollments using required software.
Collaborate with university departments to ensure responsive student services.
Prepare and advise on transfers and admissions for Fort Bragg campus.
