The role requires travel and occasional evening/weekend hours, with a focus on proactive, developmental advising to promote student success and persistence to degree completion.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or Bachelor's degree with two years of experience working with college students.
• Ability to travel and to work some evenings and weekend hours.

Responsabilités

• Advise students on choosing majors and understanding curricula and career options.
• Teach students how to navigate UNCP systems, processes and policies.
• Monitor student progress and assist with course selection and scheduling in relation to goals.
• Apply developmental and advising theories to interactions with students.
