Job summary

Kansas City Kansas Community College is seeking a Dean of Enrollment Management to lead district-wide enrollment operations and strategy. The role reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Services and oversees recruitment, admissions, records, financial aid, international student services, advising, and related programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in community college leadership, educational leadership, higher education administration, student personnel administration, student development, or closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in enrollment management including recruitment, admissions, records, registration, financial aid processing and veterans’ affairs regulations.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible leadership in higher education with staff supervision and budget management.
• Ability to develop measurable outcomes and data-driven decisions.
• Maintains effective collaborative relationships with internal and external personnel at all levels.
• Maintains knowledge of new developments in enrollment management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating and coordinating all aspects of enrollment management operations.
• Supervise managers and staff, assign tasks, train employees and develop professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with college policy, rules, procedures, laws and regulations.
• Provide leadership to student records and information system managers for planning and upgrades.
• Manage department budgets and approve expenditures.
• Develop and enforce policies to improve enrollment services and student support.
• Develop programs to assure student access and successful transition into college.
• Collaborate on an integrated enrollment plan and recruitment strategies to promote student success.
• Monitor recruitment efforts and scholarship programs to enhance yield.
