Job summary

West Kentucky Community & Technical College seeks a Director of Enrollment to provide strategic and operational leadership for Admissions and Recruitment. You will shape enrollment strategies, oversee the prospect-to-enrollment journey, and drive data-informed decisions across several college departments.

The role requires analytical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to translate data into targeted actions that improve conversion and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, student personnel administration, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Three years of progressive management or supervisory experience in enrollment management, recruitment, and/or admissions within a higher education institution.
• Demonstrated experience supervising professional staff, managing performance, and leading teams toward measurable goals.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing recruitment or strategic enrollment management plans and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze enrollment data, develop projections and performance measures, and use findings to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Experience using CRM and student information systems to manage prospective student populations and support the enrollment process.
• Experience leading collaborative or cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments or stakeholders.
• Knowledge of student recruitment, outreach, admissions processes, marketing, and enrollment technology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrollment strategies aligned with institutional priorities and goals.
• Analyze enrollment, recruitment, application, and conversion data to forecast enrollment and identify opportunities and risks.
• Monitor the enrollment funnel from inquiry to enrollment and improve conversion.
• Establish measurable goals and KPIs for Admissions and Recruitment and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Develop targeted recruitment strategies for diverse student groups and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide leadership for Admissions and Recruitment, including staff supervision and performance management.
• Lead the effective use of the college’s CRM to manage the enrollment pipeline and communications.
• Provide enrollment projections and strategic recommendations to college leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to address barriers and improve enrollment processes.
• Build relationships with high schools and community organizations for recruitment.
