Job summary

East Central College in Union, MO seeks an Enrollment Counselor – Recruitment & Outreach to drive student enrollment growth through strategic outreach and relationship building. You will represent ECC at events and guide students from inquiry to enrollment using targeted communication and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from regionally accredited institution.
• Experience tracking metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective students in assigned schools, territories and target populations to meet enrollment goals.
• Build relationships with high school staff, community partners, students and families.
• Represent ECC at high school visits, college fairs, community events and recruitment activities.
• Present information on programs, transfer options, financial aid, scholarships, and student life.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets.
• Manage an assigned territory with a consistent presence in schools and communities.
• Analyze enrollment trends and demographics to guide recruitment planning.
• Build and manage a student recruitment pipeline from inquiry through enrollment.
• Conduct personalized outreach via phone, email, text, appointments and CRM campaigns.
• Identify and re-engage students stalled in the enrollment process.
• Guide students through admissions, registration and enrollment requirements.
• Use CRM and SIS to track interactions and progress.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and adjust strategies to improve conversion.
• Collaborate with Marketing on recruitment campaigns and content.
• Plan campus visits, tours, open houses and information sessions.
