Job summary

Centura College is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead our campus admissions team and guide prospective students through an educational journey. This role focuses on metrics-driven leadership, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring a positive student experience from inquiry to enrollment.

You will oversee the full admissions cycle, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Financial Aid, Career Services, Marketing, and Academic units to drive enrollment growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership of an admission team in a for-profit educational setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on student engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the admissions team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop and measure metrics to drive team performance; analyze admissions data and performance metrics to improve conversion rates and optimize recruitment strategies.
• Design and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with campus and organizational goals.
• Manage the full admissions cycle, ensuring prospective students receive a seamless and supportive experience.
• Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation of Admissions staff, including Assistant Directors and Representatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and maintain compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Regularly audit admissions files, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Career Services, Marketing, and Academic teams to support student success and enrollment growth.
• Participate in campus events, including open houses, career fairs, and orientations.
• Maintain inventory of admissions materials and support outreach initiatives.
• Prepare reports and provide updates to campus leadership.
