Job summary

Community Action Agency Of Oklahoma is seeking an Admissions & Enrollment Specialist at the Central Office in Oklahoma City to ensure accurate eligibility determinations, timely enrollment, and ERSEA compliance, aligned with our agency values and mission.

You will maintain enrollment, manage documentation, enroll families smoothly, and collaborate with centers, Recruitment & Community Engagement, and staff to sustain full enrollment and uphold data integrity in ChildPlus and other systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in child development, social services, education, or related field.
• Experience with eligibility or enrollment processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency in ChildPlus and related systems (or ability to learn).
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and reliable transportation for off-site locations.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn agency data systems.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Eligibility Interviews and ensure ERSEA compliance.
• Maintain waitlists, enrollment tracking, and selection criteria.
• Collaborate with centers to address attendance and follow-up.
• Fill vacancies within timelines to maintain full enrollment.
• Maintain accurate records in ChildPlus and other systems.
• Provide ERSEA training and collaborate with Recruitment & Community Engagement.
• Prepare reports for monitoring, audits, and internal reviews.
• Support Head Start/Early Head Start mission and collaborate with teams.
