Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Enrollment Counselor to guide prospective students through decision-making and the enrollment process. You will serve as the main point of contact, providing program information, tours, and timely follow-ups to convert inquiries into enrollments.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Recruit/Colleague is a plus, and the position is based in Roanoke, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in higher education, student recruitment, or marketing is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on inquiries via phone, email, web chat, and social media.
• Input data and document follow-up with prospective students using Recruit and Colleague.
• Provide information on on-campus programs and give campus tours.
• Notify accepted students and guide them through enrollment steps.
• Explain program commitments and timelines, answering questions as needed.
• Ensure documentation and prerequisites are completed for enrollment.
