Job summary

Southeastern College is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to engage and onboard prospective students. This onsite role at our Florida campus focuses on building rapport, screening inquiries, and guiding candidates through interviews, assessments, enrollment, and financial aid processes.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students and a successful start to their programs.

Responsibilities

• Review inquiries/leads provided by the Director of Admissions
• Make outbound calls to prospective candidates
• Conduct phone screening to assess interest and set in-person interviews
• Schedule in-person interviews for likely prospects
• Conduct in-person interviews and administer student self-assessment
• Administer CQQ - structured interview: determine readiness, identify barriers, resources
• Provide overview of Southeastern College and available programs
• Arrange admissions test and review results
• Initiate student enrollment and coordinate with Bursar for fees
• Arrange financial aid overview with Financial Aid Department
• Follow up with candidates on questions, enrollment, financial aid docs
• Maintain permanent student records and assist with transcripts
• Ensure readiness for orientation and coordinate with Financial Aid
• Greet students for class starts
• Learn curriculum and new programs; maintain pipeline; weekly plans; notes in C2K Campus View
