The School District of Lee County, Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a Before and After Care Program Instructor to guide students through structured activities, supervise after-school hours, and support a safe, positive learning environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with program staff and school personnel, with emphasis on confidentiality and safety.

Preferred candidates bring a valid Florida teaching certificate and experience with children in group settings.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
• Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Implement structured activities including academic support, arts and crafts, games, and physical play.
• Supervise students before and/or after regular school hours in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Promote positive behavior, social development, and respectful interactions among students.
• Set up and clean up program areas and materials daily.
• Report all accidents immediately to the Program Director.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents or guardians as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
