The School District of Lee County seeks a Before and After Care Program Instructor for Pinewoods Elementary in Estero, Florida. This full-time position supports structured after-school activities, academic support, arts and crafts, and safe supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and experience with children in a group setting are preferred.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
• Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current employee of the School District of Lee County.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate.
• Experience working with children in a group or educational setting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of and experience with organizing student activities and events.
• Knowledge of general policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention.
• Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with program staff and school personnel.
• Ability to relate to and inspire confidence in students.
• Ability to administer First Aid/CPR/AED as needed for illness, injury, or life‑threatening emergencies per certification training guidelines.
