Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks an English Learner (EL) Teacher for a part-time role. The teacher provides instructional leadership in the EL program, develops lesson plans, and supports school-wide LIEP implementation for identified English Learners. Reports to the Principal and works on school premises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; NC teaching certification or eligibility.
• Experience with diverse learners and EL programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement an EL program of study that meets needs of EL students.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using varied teaching methods.
• Establish EL-LIEP instructional schedules and service delivery for ELs.
