Job summary

MTC Training in the United States (Maryland) seeks a Trainer & Skills Coach to oversee a comprehensive teaching and learning experience for Mechatronics, Engineering and Manufacturing Apprenticeships. You will deliver theory and practical training, assess progress and provide regular feedback to support apprentices toward successful completion.

Responsibilities include creating schemes of work, maintaining learning resources, monitoring safety, and collaborating with employers and the Leadership

Qualifications

• Strong background in engineering and delivery of theory and practical training.
• Understanding of assessment methods and apprenticeship standards.
• Experience in coaching and developing learners toward competency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom theoretical engineering training aligned with standards.
• Mark learner work and provide developmental feedback.
• Manage classroom environment and learner issues.
• Create learning resources reflecting delivery style and outcomes.
• Plan schemes of work and lesson plans for effective delivery.
• Monitor health, safety and welfare of apprentices.
• Provide guidance on skills development and career progression.
• Record progress and complete required funding documentation.
