The City of Shoreview is accepting applications to fill a single vacant position in our Public Works Department. This position will be filled with either a Senior Engineering Technician or Engineering Technician depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.

This position will work closely with the engineering staff on design and construction observation of public works projects to include street, traffic, water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure projects. As a key member of the Public Works Department, this position works closely with engineers, maintenance staff, and contractors to deliver high-quality projects for the city’s residents. Strong candidates will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation:
Engineering Technician: $33.30 - $36.71 per hour
Senior Engineering Technician: $40.79 - $44.97 per hour
