As a Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing Stratus Imaging (SI) products in a cloud environment. You will serve as the lead technical resource, working closely with customers and project teams to coordinate, customize, install, troubleshoot, and validate product deployments.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers, cross functional teams, and internal project teams to Implement proprietary products such as SI Archive, SI Viewer, SI PACS, SI Share, SI Analytics
  • Design, configure and implement system according to customer requirements
  • Design and configure HL7
  • Diagnose and resolve system, application, and end user issues
  • Test, benchmark and verify that the implemented system is error free
  • Support customer during go-live (within or outside of normal business hours) when system is activated for live Production use
  • Adhere to internal workflows, best practices, and guidelines; complete all necessary documentation and reports
  • Mentorship and training
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives and process improvement initiatives
  • Travel to client sites for install/support as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT experience troubleshooting and implementing Information Systems
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Active Directory and Windows Server OS knowledge and experience
  • Experience working with virtual machines, servers, and workstations
  • Experience with Windows applications such as Word, Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MCSE or A+ certification
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience in Healthcare industry
  • Experience implementing medical imaging software (PACS, RIS, EMR or other clinical systems)
  • Experience with DICOM, HL7
  • Experience with scripting
  • Proven ability to work independently and under tight timelines
  • Proven understanding of network topology and protocols

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
