Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is hiring an Engineering Technician for its Murfreesboro, TN facility. The role supports engineers on the line, improves ergonomics, quality and process efficiency, and may assist in fabricating air conditioning units and related subsystems.

You will work 75% on the floor and 25% in the office, collaborating with teams to implement tooling and process changes while following engineering standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma with engineering experience preferred.
• Associate degree plus engineering experience is a plus.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using HVAC terms.

Responsibilities

• Support senior technicians and engineers on the line to improve safety, quality and process performance.
• Assist in fabrication and assembly of air conditioning units and related systems.
• Analyze tooling and test data to implement process improvements.
• Create design change requests to address build issues and improve manufacturability.
• Maintain a safe work environment and operate equipment as required.
