Job summary
Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is building a new factory in Murfreesboro, TN and seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. You will own detailed manufacturing processes, routings, BOMs, and engineering changes, review releases, and support equipment/tooling decisions.
You will improve coordination between Engineering and Operations to drive manufacturing excellence. The role reports to the Chief Engineer - Operations and requires strong CAD, ERP, and lean manufacturing experience in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
- Five (5) or more years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert for a selected series of processes.
- Oversee and coach supporting engineers or technicians.
- Complete projects on time using lean/six sigma methodologies.
- Manage equipment capitalization and receipts of POs.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and reporting.
- Coordinate cycle time balance to meet delivery schedule.
- Collaborate with design engineering for corrective actions and new tooling.
- Provide technical guidance for production issues.
