Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking Engineer Technicians to support electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines in the design, construction, and maintenance of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines.

This onsite role offers involvement across engineering, planning, quality, and deckplate operations to ensure safe and compliant ship construction. The position emphasizes translating requirements into technical documentation, performing analyses, and producing reports

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
• Equivalents may meet minimum qualifications (HS/GED + 2–4 years related experience).
• Nice to have: naval or marine ship design experience; NAVSEA, MIL-SPEC, ANSI, and ASME standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical, mechanical, and structural design, construction, and maintenance of naval ships.
• Interface daily with engineering, planning, quality, and shipyard operations to ensure safe, compliant ship construction.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings, and perform mathematical calculations.
