Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management or a related field.
• Two years of experience in sidewalk, roadway or underground utility construction and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of principles and techniques used in the inspection and construction of public works projects.
• Use of computer assisted applications to produce automated report-keeping, inspection schedules or CAD outputs.
• Collects fees and records in computer systems related to sewer construction and connections.
• Reviews permits and right-of-way, MDOT, and erosion/sedimentation permit applications.
• Coordinate drain-layer and sewer license processes and assist with survey and staking.
