Job summary

KING AND GEORGE LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician and Estimator to support facility maintenance at Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Coraopolis, PA. The role involves engineering support, estimating, and analysis to develop work scopes and resource plans for workload-based maintenance.

Responsibilities include preparing labor/material estimates, reviewing technical data, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure accurate, defensible estimates and timely

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to prepare and explain labor/material estimates, quantity takeoffs and supporting technical analyses.
Ability to use cost-reference data, historical productivity and CMMS work information to plan maintenance and repair work.
Read, write and speak English fluently when interfacing with Government representatives; provide current qualification records for verification.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support, estimating and analysis for facility maintenance and repair requirements.
Develop work scopes, resource plans and estimates supporting workload-based maintenance execution.
Use RSMeans, Whitestone, relevant historical information and SME input to support defensible estimates and responsive emergency-repair planning.
Prepare labor/material estimates and document assumptions, production rates and local/site conditions.
Maintain estimate documentation and coordinate revisions with the maintenance team.
