Job summary

Yoh Staffing's client in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an on-site Engineering Technician to read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and work safely around hazardous gases and high power.

The role requires use of hand tools, forklift and pallet jack operation, crane usage, programming controllers, calibrating instruments, and strong fault-finding abilities. Medical benefits and 401(k) are available; Mon-Fri day shift.

Qualifications

• Read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Work safely around hazardous gases and high power.
• Use hand tools effectively.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and crane as required.
• Program controllers and calibrate instruments.
• Troubleshoot complex electronics to a fault.
• Work around facility power, vacuum and abatement systems.
• Conduct leak detection and hazardous gas qualification.

Engineering Technician (ONSITE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing's client working in Santa Clara, CA.

• Pay Rate: $32-45/hr
• Day Shift: Mon-Fri

What You'll Be Doing:

• Candidate must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level.
• They must be able to work safely around hazardous gasses and high power.
• Knowledge and correct use of hand tools are a must.
• Knowledge and use of a forklift and pallet jacks are a must.
• Crane use is a must.
• Clear thinking and breaking down circuits and using the drawings to troubleshoot are a must.
• Basic electronics are a must.
• Following logic and being able to program controllers and calibrate instruments are a must.
• Troubleshooting skills are a must-have.
• Working around main power (facility power), vacuum systems and abatement systems are a must.
• Leak detecting is a must.
• Qualify hazardous gasses are a must.
