Yoh Staffing’s client in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician for an onsite contract role. The technician will read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and work safely around hazardous gases and high power.

Applicants should be proficient with hand tools, forklift, pallet jack, crane, and be able to program controllers and calibrate instruments. Strong troubleshooting and basic electronics are required for success.

Qualifications

Engineering Technician (ONSITE)

needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in Santa Clara, CA.

• Pay Rate: $32-45/hr
• Day Shift: Mon-Fri

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Candidate must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component level.
• They must be able to work safely around hazardous gasses and high power.
• Knowledge and correct use of hand tools are a must.
• Knowledge and use of a forklift and pallet jacks are a must.
• Crane use is a must.
• Clear thinking and breaking down circuits and using the drawings to troubleshoot are a must.
• Basic electronics are a must.
• Following logic and being able to program controllers and calibrate instruments are a must.
• Troubleshooting skills are a must-have.
• Working around main power (facility power), vacuum systems and abatement systems are a must.
• Leak detecting is a must.
• Qualify hazardous gasses are a must.
