SIG is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Northlake manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical equipment, including BiB fillers, per engineering drawings and specs, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to read drawings are essential. You will also support light electrical field activities and machining projects, contributing to continuous improvement efforts across safety, quality, and efficiency.
COMPENSATION: $60k-$80k
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician to join our manufacturing team in Northlake. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, including Bag-in-Box (BiB) fillers and related components, ensuring all assemblies meet quality standards and engineering specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
You will also have opportunities to support electrical field activities and light machining projects while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
