Job summary

SIG Combibloc Group Ltd in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a warehouse associate to load, unload, and move materials within the plant and surrounding areas. You will support manufacturing cells, manage inventory, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift experience and license, basic computer skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. This full-time role includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities to grow with SIG.

Qualifications

  • Forklift operation according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

  • Supply packaging materials to manufacturing cells.
  • Supply raw materials to manufacturing cells through the plant.
  • Package finished goods into boxes and label accordingly.
  • Palletize and inventory finish goods and WIP.
  • Log inventory using system and complete daily inspections.

Job description

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or worksitebyperforming the following duties to maximize safety, quality, and OEE. The Trainer or Supervisor fulfills the responsibilities of this role when vacant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an at-will employer, SIG reserves the right to add to or modify this list to the extent it deems necessary.

  • Supply packaging materials to the various manufacturing cells throughout the plant
  • Supply raw materials including resin, film, pouches, fitments etc., to the various manufacturing cells through the plant
  • In certain cells, responsible for final package finished goods into corrugated boxes and label boxes accordingly
  • Palletizing and inventory placement of finished goods and WIP
  • Inventory logging of components finished goods and WIP using Virtual Client.
  • Conduct and complete the Forklift Inspection Checklist before operating.
  • Complete the daily warehouse cleaning and inspection form.
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
  • EDUCATION:
    • High school diploma or G.E.D required.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
      • Ability to operate a forklift according to OSHA guidelines
      • Positive attitude, cooperative nature
      • Good understanding of product lines
      • Focused on details and accuracy while supplying numerous different components to the manufacturing lines
      • Ability to repeatedly lift product boxes of up to 30lbs
      • Forklift license (or ability to obtain license)
      • Basic Computer skills
