Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Test Engineering Technician in Malabar, FL. This full-time contract role offers a 12-month duration with a contract-to-hire path and an hourly pay range of $32-$33.

You will support production testing, read schematics, and work with engineers to optimize processes while maintaining a Lean, continuous improvement mindset. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience or an associates degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings or schematics.
• Ability to work with limited supervision following defined processes.

• Support production, ESS and depot testing; troubleshoot and fault isolate.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform duties.
• Work with little supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize test processes and procedures.

• Troubleshoot to component level with diagnostic tools (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzers).

Test Engineering Technician

Location: Malabar, FL 32950

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

• Support production, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and Depot testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties.
• Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures.
• Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures.
• Lean, continuous improvement mindset.
• Troubleshoot and fault isolate to component level using a variety of diagnostic tools including DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, etc.
• Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Pay Range

Pay Range*: $32-$33 per hour • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
