Innova Solutions is seeking a Cloud Software Developer for onsite work in Melbourne, FL. The role emphasizes building cloud-based applications, deploying microservices to Kubernetes environments, and ensuring high availability in enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/C++/Python skills, experience with NodeJS/ReactJS, and a solid DevOps toolset including Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent (STEM) and minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3+ years as Cloud Software Developer.
• Minimum 3+ years OOP in Java, C++, Python.
• Hands-on design, development and deployment of microservices to Kubernetes environments (EKS, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of microservice patterns and cloud container workloads.
• Experience with scalable, highly available cloud enterprise systems.
• 2+ years in Java development with Web Services, JMS, and application servers; JavaScript with NodeJS or ReactJS.
• 2+ years building apps with relational and noSQL databases.
• IaC usage via CLI/config files for cloud deployments.
• DevOps tools: Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Git, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Ability to obtain FAA public trust clearance.

Position Details

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract. Duration: 3 months. Location: Melbourne, FL 32919 (Onsite).

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks related to design, development and integration of Cloud software applications in an Agile development environment.
• Develop Cloud based applications and configure the deployment environments to achieve end-to-end integration between Cloud and Non-Cloud components.
• Implement applications satisfying both the program requirements and the business vision & roadmap for Cloud technologies.
• Coordinate with the development team and customers to review designs and estimates, including identifying and documenting risks, assumptions and limitations.
• Leverage DevOps concepts and best practices to build and continuously improve the automated build, test and deployment environments for the applications.
• Provide operational support for applications and tools to meet high availability and other SLAs.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent (STEM) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 3+ years Cloud Software Developer.
• Minimum 3+ years OOP (Java, C++, Python).
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices to Kubernetes based environments such as EKS, OpenShift, etc.
• Knowledge of microservice architectural patterns.
• Cloud environments with focus on containerized workloads, databases, and object storage.
• Experience developing scalable, highly available enterprise systems, ideally for Cloud.
• Minimum 2 years' experience of Java software development including the use of Web Services, JMS, and application servers and JavaScript development with in-depth knowledge of NodeJS or ReactJS.
• Minimum 2 years' experience developing applications that leverage relational and noSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience leveraging Cloud services for application development/deployment and using CLI commands and config files to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with DevOps tools and concepts, including but not limited to: Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Git, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines & automation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or similar for other Cloud providers.
• JavaScript, JQuery, XML, Web services (REST, SOAP) and/or similar technologies.
• Scripting languages, such as Python and Bash.
• Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Experience verifying designs are compliant with specifications.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $45-$50 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
