Role: Production and Facilities Engineering Technician

Position Description: Oil and Gas Production Engineering Technician. As a key contributor to our production engineering efforts, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of oil and gas production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering technology and be a subject matter expert in WellView for QC reports, diagrams, queries, and the creation of visuals.

  • Collaborate with production engineers to optimize oil and gas production processes.
  • Implement and monitor data-driven solutions to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct analysis of well performance, reservoir behavior, and surface facilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze production data using software tools and methodologies.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with production engineers and field staff to achieve production goals.
  • Participate in projects to address complex challenges and improve overall field strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production engineering activities.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of five years of oil and gas industry experience.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Spotfire, and Peloton Suite (WellView).

Position Details

Location: Denver, CO/Remote/Hybrid

Hitch: 5/2 (50% split in person and remote)

Pay Rate: $53.91/hr

Job Type: Full-time
