Role: I&E Technician

Position Description

• Calibrates, programs, maintains and repairs I&E equipment at wells and facilities.
• Maintains and optimizes SCADA communications systems and programmable logic controllers.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and repairs control devices / communication equipment.
• Operate SCADA systems and evaluate new facilities for I&E technology application.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical, pneumatic, process controls and new equipment as projects dictate.
• Oversees and monitors Grounding/Breaker Installation, Terminations, Continuity checks, Instrument Installation, Loop checks, and System Function checks during Project installation.
• Responds to requests from I&E Supervisor to achieve maximum efficiency of all I&E systems.
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of I&E experience
• 3-5+ years oil and gas experience.
• Experience with SCADA and programmable logic controllers.
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical systems.
• Technical certification preferred.
• Able to be on call nights and/or holidays
