Location: Burnsville, Minnesota
Pay Range: $33-$38 Hourly
What's the Job?
Build and assemble test hardware including cables, valve boxes, control boxes, and interface boxes according to engineering drawings.
Support the development and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical test systems for sensor products.
Review and update test system designs, schematics, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Diagnose and repair issues with test equipment and hardware to maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, operators, and technicians to resolve technical challenges and improve testing processes.
What's Needed?
Typically requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school training with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and systems, preferably within the aviation or defense industry.
Proficiency with tools such as soldering, crimping, and testing equipment (hand, electric, pneumatic).
Knowledge of electrical schematics, wire lists, and compliance with electrical codes.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
