Pay Range: $33-$38Hourly
What's the Job?
- Build and assemble test hardware including cables, valve boxes, control boxes, and interface boxes according to engineering drawings.
- Support the development and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical test systems for sensor products.
- Review and update test system designs, schematics, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Diagnose and repair issues with test equipment and hardware to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, operators, and technicians to resolve technical challenges and improve testing processes.
What's Needed?
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school training with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and systems, preferably within the aviation or defense industry.
- Proficiency with tools such as soldering, crimping, and testing equipment (hand, electric, pneumatic).
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, wire lists, and compliance with electrical codes.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
