Experis in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Testing Department, supporting product development and quality assurance initiatives. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work proactively within the team.

This on-site, 12+ month contract offers hands-on testing of medical devices using calipers, MTS, multimeters, Cognex, LabVIEW, and more, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
• Familiarity with medical device testing or product assembly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience in R&D or testing environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure precise testing procedures
• Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations
• Utilize lab tools and equipment including calipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, force gauges, Cognex, LabVIEW, and hand tools

As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Testing Department supporting product development and quality assurance initiatives. Pay Range: $30/hr. - $33/hr. on W2

Duration: 12+Month Contract
