Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Sensors Test Engineering department in Burnsville, MN. The role focuses on building test hardware, supporting electrical/mechanical test systems, and ensuring designs meet customer requirements.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to diagnose issues, improve testing processes, and contribute to cutting-edge sensor technology for commercial and defense applications. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school training with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience building complex cable assemblies, test boxes, and systems in aviation or defense.
• Soldering, crimping and testing equipment proficiency.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and wire lists and electrical codes.
• Strong communication and proactive troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble test hardware per engineering drawings.
• Support development and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical test systems.
• Review and update test system designs, schematics, and documentation.
• Diagnose and repair issues with test equipment to maintain operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and technicians to improve testing.
