Aleron is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician in Bloomington, MN to support the development and testing of advanced electro-mechanical systems. This hands-on role involves building and troubleshooting prototypes, with opportunities to expand technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an engineering technician, electronics, or lab-based role.
• 1+ year of experience using test equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes.
• 1+ year of experience troubleshooting electronic or electro-mechanical systems.

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and modify electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Support design, fabrication, and assembly of specialized test equipment.
• Perform calibration, alignment, and diagnostic testing using advanced tools.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and support process improvements.
• Assist in constructing tooling, fixtures, and lab setups.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

• 1+ year of experience in an engineering technician, electronics, or lab‑based role
• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year of experience using test equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes
• 1+ year of experience troubleshooting electronic or electro‑mechanical systems

• Solder repair certification or FCC license
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills at the component level
