Job summary

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN, seeks an Engineering Technician III to support resort operations with maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. You will diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and participate in construction tasks while upholding safety standards and using resort software such as HotSOS.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in trades, a high school diploma, strong English communication, and the ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in resorts or commercial settings.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be at least 18 and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead maintenance projects, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed.
• Inspect MEP systems for safe operation and adherence to guidelines.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical components, and appliances.
• Lead small construction tasks including drywall, carpentry, and flooring.
• Operate resort software and devices (HotSOS) and read technical data/blueprints.
