Job summary

Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, seeks an Engineering Tech 3 to support resort operations with maintenance tasks, projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. You will apply safety practices, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, and lead small projects to ensure MEP systems operate safely and efficiently.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, CPO license, EPA HVAC credentials, ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain valid Driver’s license.
• CPO license as required by Resort.
• HVAC - Universal EPA as required by resort.
• High school diploma or GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, repairs, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and proper operation of MEP systems following resort guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of HVAC and mechanical components.
• Diagnose plumbing fixtures, handle clogs, and conduct repairs and equipment replacements.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical components, such as breakers and contactors.
• Repair and troubleshoot appliances and household fixtures.
• Lead small construction projects, including drywall, carpentry, concrete, and flooring.
• Work with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and maintenance of all MEP equipment.
