Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab testing technician to support inspection and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. This role includes sample transport, data reporting, and adherence to safety standards.

Under supervision, you will perform basic testing, document findings, and communicate results to the Project Manager. Training will progressively increase responsibilities, with focus on quality and safety on every project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks under supervision of senior staff.
• Provide clear documentation of testing results and observations.
• Prepare data and reports for project manager submission.
• Maintain equipment and workspace in clean, safe condition.
• Follow safety rules and site procedures on all projects.

Education
