Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to mentor and lead the office’s local engineering group, supporting the Operations and Engineering Manager and driving improvements in communication and efficiency.

You will guide the team, coordinate with Operations, and ensure engineering tasks are completed accurately and on time, while maintaining AVI-SPL standards and staying current with AV technologies.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead the local engineering group and act as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate with Operations Management to align goals and execution.
• Coach and motivate the engineering team to meet or exceed goals and objectives.
• Share and reinforce AVI-SPL standard practices across the team.
• Lead daily communications to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Review designs, estimates, and vendor interactions to support projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and stay current with AV advances.
