Job summary

AVI Systems in United States is seeking a Senior Audiovisual Support Engineer to own the design, implementation, and ongoing support of complex AV systems across large enterprise environments. You will lead projects, coordinate with IT, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

You will mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians, manage escalations, engage with vendors, and drive preventative maintenance, documentation, and knowledge sharing while staying ahead of AV trends such as AV

Qualifications

• Advanced AV design, integration, and support experience.
• Experience with Crestron/Extron/AMX programming.
• Strong networking and IT integration for AV systems.
• CTS/CCNA or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure comprehensive AV systems for enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot complex AV issues across hardware, software, and networks.
• Lead installation and configuration of AV equipment (video walls, sound systems, control systems).
• Manage AV-related projects, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate AV into networks.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians and handle escalations.
• Evaluate vendors and oversee procurement and maintenance contracts.
• Establish preventative maintenance and monitoring plans.
• Create documentation and share knowledge on AV designs and procedures.
• Stay updated on AV trends like AV over IP and cloud solutions.
