Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle searches for engineering and data roles, partnering closely with hiring managers. You’ll build robust pipelines, source top technical talent beyond traditional channels, and develop deep product and team knowledge to align candidates with Mercury’s mission.

You will drive a thoughtful, transparent candidate experience from first touch through offer, while advocating for diverse and inclusive teams and maintaining urgency and ownership

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a technical recruiter supporting engineering or data teams.
• Strong sourcing skills that go beyond LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Deep curiosity about Mercury’s products and teams, and understanding of how the roles you hire for drive impact.
• Strong alignment with Mercury’s values and ability to represent them authentically to candidates and teammates.
• Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams, with empathy, kindness, and care for the work.
• Sense of urgency and ownership for the work, and willingness to support hiring across other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and data roles, from kickoff to close.
• Build and maintain strong pipelines across multiple roles.
• Source candidates proactively and creatively to engage top technical talent.
• Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s products, engineering challenges, and team needs.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders on pipeline health, progress, blockers, and timelines.
• Own offer strategy and closing for searches.
• Deliver a candidate experience that’s thoughtful and transparent from first touch to final decision.
