PayPal is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Recruiting to lead a team of recruiters supporting our Engineering organization. You will translate business priorities into recruiting plans, develop a strong team, and partner with Engineering leaders to hire the technical talent their organizations need.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading recruiters across multiple Engineering teams.
• Strong ability to coach and develop recruiting teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the recruiting team; set expectations and coach for search quality and stakeholder partnership.
• Own recruiting delivery for the Engineering portfolio; translate hiring plans into priorities and allocate capacity.
• Advise Engineering leaders with market insight and data on talent availability, compensation, and timelines.
• Guide technical search strategy; develop targeted approaches for specialized roles.
• Strengthen hiring decisions with clear role requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Use data to improve results; review pipeline health and conversion metrics.
• Support candidate engagement and closing; influence leadership to move critical searches forward.
• Improve team operations through cross-functional coordination.
