Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Recruiting to lead a team of recruiters supporting our Engineering organization. You will translate business priorities into recruiting plans, develop a strong team, and partner with Engineering leaders to hire the technical talent their organizations need.

You will move between strategy and execution, advising leaders on hiring priorities, coaching recruiters through complex searches, and addressing issues that affect hiring results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team with clear expectations and coaching.
• Own recruiting delivery for the Engineering portfolio, translating hiring plans into priorities.
• Advise Engineering leaders with market insights on talent availability, compensation, and timelines.
• Guide technical search strategy with targeted approaches for difficult roles.
• Strengthen hiring decisions by defining role requirements and evaluation criteria.
