Job summary

PayPal is seeking an energetic, strategic professional to join the Office of the CTO. This role partners with senior executives across global Technology to shape the company’s future and drive impactful initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, own a portfolio of strategic projects, and deliver end-to-end analyses that inform executive decisions. A background in software development, payments, and e-commerce is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in software development, with financial services (particularly payments) and/or e-commerce experience preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of independently delivering complex analysis end-to-end.
• Leadership experience advising senior and executive stakeholders across complex global organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of PayPal's Technology strategy across multiple workstreams.
• Own end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring flawless process and quality.
• Personally build and prototype enterprise-wide applications and internal tools using AI-enabled coding platforms.
• Personally conduct and/or lead the most complex qualitative and quantitative analyses to high standards.
• Shape PayPal's enterprise-wide position on long-term strategic issues for senior Technology leadership.
• Provide coaching and professional mentorship to junior team members.
