Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Pullman, WA, seeks an entry-level team member to assist in testing, services, and troubleshooting of SEL products under supervision. You will learn department processes, communicate updates to customers and peers, and contribute to documentation improvements.

Qualifications

• Two years’ relevant experience.
• Able to efficiently operate Windows and MS Office.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL; Negative drug test results.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic testing, services, or troubleshooting of SEL products under supervision.
• Provide status updates to SEL staff and customers; communicate with team and partners.
• Learn and follow department processes; suggest improvements to docs or work instructions.
• Represent the team by participating in collaborative improvement efforts.
• Develop basic proficiency to support one of the Operation Team’s disciplines or R&D’s disciplines.
• Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.
